Activation: As an Attack action, you may make a Theology (Water) check targeting one living being at range 0–2. The TN of the check is equal to the target’s vigilance.

Effect: If you succeed, you curse your target, causing them to suffer supernatural damage equal to your Water Ring plus the number of your rings with a Shadowlands Taint disadvantage attached.

New Opportunities

Water L: One target must resist with a TN 3 Fitness check (Earth 1, Fire 4) or suffer one of the following conditions of your choice: Dazed, Disoriented, Silenced.

Water L+: Treat the maximum range of the technique as 1 higher per L spent this way.

Water L+: Choose one additional target per L spent this way.

Water LL: One target must resist with a TN 3 Fitness check (Earth 1, Fire 4) or suffer one of the following conditions of your choice: Bleeding, Immobilized, or Lightly Wounded.
